| Composition |
White or cream colored oily suspension. 10 ml of suspension (1 dose) contain: cloxacillin sodium – 300 mg, sodium ampicillin – 150 mg, sulfadimidine sodium – 500 mg and excipients. |
| Indications | Treatment of catarrhal, fibrinous, purulent, serous and subclinical mastitis in lactating cows, caused by microorganisms sensitive to the active substances in the preparation. |
| Dosage and method of administration | Before each administration, the affected quarter is milked and the nipple is sterilized by washing with warm water and soap. Administer 10 ml of Brovamast 2D through the nipple channel with the help of the syringe equipped with an extension cord or catheter adapted to the syringe. The procedure is done with great care through manipulations used to avoid injury to the mucosa. Before administration, warm to T°C +35°C +37°C and shake well for complete homogenization. After administration, a gentle massage of the nipple (from bottom to top) and of the affected quarter is performed in order to obtain a uniform spread of the preparation. It is administered once a day, after the evening milking, for 3-5 days. |
| Contraindications | Do not administer to animals with increased sensitivity to the active substances in the preparation. Brovamast 2D is not administered simultaneously with antibiotics antagonistic to the active substances (amphotericin B, polymyxin B, vancomycin) and with cephalosporins, tetracyclines and levomycetin. |
| Waiting period | Meat - 8 days, milk - during the treatment period and another 72 hours after the last administration. Until the deadline expires, the milk and carcasses are fed to non-productive animals or destroyed (according to the decision of the veterinarian). |
| Release form | 10 ml dosing syringe, 50, 100 and 200 ml glass bottles. |
| Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 4°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children. |
| Shelf life | 18 months from the date of production. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. |
