Dosage form: solution for oral administration in drinking Toltarox® 2.5% in 1 ml as active ingredient toltrazuril – 25 mg, as well as excipients: polyethylene glycol (polyethylene glycole). |
| Indications | Toltarox 2.5% is prescribed for broiler chickens, replacement chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks with coccidiosis for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes, when a critical level of coca is reached in the litter, thous./g), as well as when clinical signs of diseases appear in birds |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Toltarox 2.5% is used for poultry with water for drinking for two days: a dose of 7 mg of toltrazuril (DV) per 1 kg of body weight (0.28 ml of the drug 2.5% per 1 kg of poultry weight), which is equivalent to: - 1 ml of the drug Toltarox 2.5% per 1 liter of drinking water, which (the bird is drunk for 48 hours in a row, - 3 ml of the preparation Toltarox 2.5% per 1 liter of drinking water, which is fed to the bird for 8 hours a day for two days in a row. In severe cases of the disease, if necessary, repeat the course of treatment after 5 days. |
| Contraindications |
Contraindication to the use of the drug Toltarox 2,5% increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug. It is forbidden to use the drug in laying hens, due to the accumulation of the drug in the eggs. |
| Waiting period |
Slaughter of broiler chickens for meat is allowed no earlier than after: turkeys, geese and ducks – no earlier than 16 days after the use of Toltarox 2.5%. |

The drug is produced in 1 liter packs in high density polyethylene containers with screw caps. |
| Storage conditions | Store the medicine in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, protected from direct sunlight, separated from food and feed, at a temperature from 5 °C to 25 °C. The medicine must be kept in places inaccessible to children. |
| Shelf life |
3 years from the date of manufacture. It is forbidden to use the medicine after the expiration date. |
