| Indications | It is indicated in the treatment and prophylaxis of digestive tract infections - most frequently colibacteriosis and salmonellosis in calves, piglets and chickens, in bacterial enteritis in rabbits. |
| Dosage and method of administration | Calves-20-40 mg apramycin sulfate/kg body weight, for 5 days; Piglets-7.5-12.5 mg apramycin sulfate / kg body weight, for 7 days Chicken-250-500 mg apramycin sulfate /1 water (25-50 mg apramycin sulfate/ kg body mass), for 7 days; Rabbits-50-100 mg apramycin sulfate/l water (10-15 mg apramycin sulfate/kg body weight), for 5-8 days; 1 gram of preparation contains 500 mg of apramycin sulfate. It is administered internally, to chickens, piglets and rabbits mixed with water, to calves with milk or milk substitute. The necessary amount of the preparation, diluted in a volume 10-15 times higher with water, then after total dissolution, it should be added to the required volume of water. |
| Contraindications | Not to be given to cats, ruminants with a functional rumen; ruminants and birds whose milk and eggs are given for human consumption; in case of individual hypersensitivity to apramycin or other aminoglycosides. |
