Ectosan

Species Cattle, sheep.
Composition Ectosan - pale yellow emulsion, with a pleasant, specific smell. 1 ml of the preparation contains active substances: alphamethrin - 85 mg, piperonyl butoxide - 115 mg and adjuvants.
Indications Ectosan in the form of aqueous solutions is used in cattle and sheep in case of invasions with ectoparasites, sensitive to the active substances of the preparation.
Dosage and method of administration

Animal processing solutions are used by sprinkling with different devices that can create fine dispersion. In the case of visible skin conditions (psoroptosis, sarcoptosis, etc.), the solution is rubbed into them with the help of a brush, for 40-50 sec. For small animals (sheep) bathing is more effective. The sheep are bathed in specially arranged places, after shearing.
The solutions are prepared before bathing, pouring the dose of the preparation into the required amount of drinking, non-chlorinated water.
The solutions prepared in a ratio of 1:500 are used for the desaccharization of animal shelters (0.2 l/m2), for disinsection (against flies) – 1:50. With the received solution, up to 10% of the room's surface (doors, walls, windowsills, etc.) is processed.
The 1:750 dilution is used for processing animals affected by ticks from the Psoroptidae, Sarcoptidae, Heyletidae and Dermodicidae families and birds affected by ectoparasites.

Treatment of animals by bathing:
The base dilution is -1:1000 and the bath refill is -2:1000. The bath is refilled when the volume decreases by 20-25%. The T°C of the solutions is important to be 10-25°C.
Cattle need to be in the solution for 10-15 seconds. in which the head is immersed 2-3 times.
The sheep are bathed for 30-40 sec., dipping their heads twice. The optimal time for bathing is 20-25 days after the haircut.
For processing, the following volumes of solution are used: Cattle - 0.5 l/100 kg body weight, for combating flying insects 0.2-0.3 l l per animal; milking cows are processed after milking;

In the treatment of animals affected by acariform ticks, after 9-12 days the processing is repeated.

Contraindications Exhausted, sick animals and pregnant females in the last week are not subject to processing.
Waiting period Meat - 14 days from the last processing. The carcasses obtained before the expiry of the deadline are given in the production of meat-and-bone meal or in the food of carnivores. Milk - 0 days.
