Calcium Chloride 10%

Species Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, dogs.
Composition Calcium chloride 10% solution for injection. 1 ml contains as active substance: calcium chloride hexahydrate-100.0 mg and excipient.
Indications Treatment of domestic animals in the early stages of inflammatory processes, as a hemostatic in the case of hemorrhages, a preparation that reduces vascular permeability in the case of hyperemia and pulmonary and larynx edema, in allergic diseases and various complications, in the case of calcium metabolism disorders, as an antidote in the case of poisoning with magnesium salts, table salt; oxalic acid and hydrofluoric acid. In gynecological practice, it is indicated for the stimulation of parturition and the elimination of fetal membranes, in the case of metritis, endometritis, puerperal paresis, rickets, osteodistrophy, postpartum hypocalcemia.
Dosage and method of administration

The preparation is administered strictly intravenously, 1-2 times a day in a dose of (per animal, ml):

- Cattle – 150-400;

- Horses – 100-300;

- Goat, sheep – 10-30;

- Pork – 10-20;

- Dogs – 5-15.

Previously prepared, it is heated up to T° of the animal's body and administered slowly.

If necessary, the treatment is repeated every 2-3 days.

Contraindications Hypercalcemia and predisposition to thrombosis.
Waiting period Zero days.
Release form Glass ampoules of 5 and 10 ml, glass vials of 50; 100; two hundred; 250 and 400 ml, polymer bottles of 50; 100 and 200 ml.
Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C +2°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life 3 years from the date of production. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
