| Indications |
For active immunization of chickens to reduce respiratory signs of Infectious Bronchitis caused by QX-like varieties of Infectious Bronchitis virus. Installation of immunity: 3 weeks after vaccination. Duration of immunization: 63 days after vaccination. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Broilers: one dose of vaccine from 1 day of age, administered by spray. Future laying or breeding hens: one dose of vaccine from 7 days of age given by spray. Poulvac IB QX can be used with most spraying equipment. Spray equipment must deliver large particles (droplets larger than 100 pm). The distance from the sprayer nozzle to the bird depends on the type of sprayer used. It is recommended to consult the spray device manufacturer's instructions before use. Resuspension volumes also vary depending on the type of spray equipment. The recommended resuspension volume for 1 dose is between 0.15 and 0.5 ml. Remove the aluminum cap from the vaccine vial. To dissolve the vaccine pellet, the rubber stopper should be removed while the vial is immersed in a graduated plastic cup containing 1 liter of clean, cold water. Fill the vial halfway with water, cap the vial, and shake to dissolve any undissolved traces of vaccine. The vaccine concentrate should then be added to the water in the spray tank and mixed thoroughly. |
