| Indications | Otidez is indicated in the treatment of acute and chronic otitis, dermatitis of the ear flap and auditory canal of bacterial, fungal or parasitic etiology, for the relief of the allergic condition in the ear region in dogs, cats, fur animals and decorative rabbits. | ||||||||
| Dosage and method of administration |
Before use, shake the bottle with the Otidez preparation intensively. The ear is sanitized by removing crusts and cleaning the auditory canal with a swab soaked in the preparation. For curative purposes, in the case of chronic and acute otitis of bacterial, allergic or fungal etiology, it is dripped into both ears, 2 times a day, for 5 - 10 days in doses indicated in the table:
In the case of otodectosis, two treatments are performed with an interval of 5 - 7 days. If necessary, the treatment is repeated after 14 days. Otidez medicine is dripped into both ears, even if only one is affected. In the case of dermatitis of the ear lobe and auditory canal, Otidez is applied to the affected surface with a soaked pad, 2-3 times a day (7 - 10 days, but not more than 14 days). Simultaneous use with etiotropic and pathogenetic preparations is allowed. |

| Contraindications | Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the preparation (including in the anamnesis) and in case of perforated eardrum. Do not use simultaneously with other auricular drugs with insectoacaricidal, antimycotic and antibacterial effects. | ||||||||
