Phosprenyl

Species Dogs.
Composition in 1 ml contains as active substance: polyprenol disodium phosphate - 4 mg, as excipients - glycerol, ethanol, tvin-80 and water for injections.
Indications It is indicated for domestic, companion, fur animals and birds for the prophylaxis and treatment of viral diseases, for the stimulation of non-specific resistance and the immune response to vaccinations, the reduction of diseases and the increase of daily gain in animals and birds.
Dosage and method of administration

Administration of the preparation can be i/muscular, subcutaneous, i/venous (horses and productive animals) or perorally.
Treatment with the given preparation must be started as soon as possible after the onset of symptoms. The most effective is the therapy in the prodromal period.
In the case of viral infections, it is necessary to associate Fosprenil with the therapy
symptomatic and pathogenetic, especially in the case of severe forms or with complications. In severe cases, the therapeutic dose of Fosprenil is recommended to be doubled. The treatment is stopped after 2-3 days after the disappearance of the symptoms. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated.
Fosprenil treatment of viral diseases in pets lasts 5-7 days, in a dose of (ml/kg), indicated in tab. 1.

In case of a large volume that requires administration, it is inoculated in 2-3 points, or 3-4 times, throughout the day.
In case of canine distemper, to avoid relapses, the preparation is administered for no less than 14 days, even in the absence of symptoms. The duration of the treatment, if necessary, can be modified and extended up to 1 month.
For non-specific disease prevention and mortality reduction, Fosprenil is administered in a dose of 0.05 ml/kg body weight, according to the scheme in table 2.

*- to prepare the solution - 20 ml of Fosprenil is diluted in 1 L of water containing 10% glycerol and sprinkled with the help of the SAG or APA generator, at a ratio of 0.4 ml/m3 of the poultry house, with a waiting period of 15 minutes. To reduce illness and mortality, increase daily sporulation, increase feed conversion in young animals (pigs, horses, cattle) and birds (chickens), in the first month of life, Fosprenil is administered preventively, intramuscularly, in a dose of 0.05 ml/ kg, orally to animals and birds is administered in the drinking water on the 2nd, 5th, 10th and 20th day of life. For fur animals, Fosprenil is administered with the feed, once a week, during the first month after weaning, then - once every 14 days, until slaughter.

With the aim of increasing the immune response to vaccinations and preventing post-vaccination complications, Fosprenil in a dose of 0.05 ml/kg is administered simultaneously with the vaccine in a separate syringe, orally or in birds - with drinking water. The preparation is not used for revaccinations.

Contraindications Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the preparation.
