| Indications | It is prescribed for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in piglets aged 3-5 days and young cattle aged 2 weeks to 9 months. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
It is indicated to animals individually, orally, in the following single doses. - piglets at the age of 3-5 days of life, 20 mg of toltrazuril per 1 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 0.4 ml of suspension per 1 kg of body weight, but not less than 0.5 ml and no more more than 2 ml per animal; - calves from the age of 2 weeks 15 mg of toltrazuril per 1 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 3 ml of suspension per 10 kg of body weight. |
| Contraindications | Do not use in cattle over 9 months of age. |
| Waiting period |
Slaughter of piglets for meat is allowed no earlier than 77 days, young cattle no earlier than 63 days after the use of Toltarox. The meat of animals that have been forcibly slaughtered earlier than the established deadlines can be used as feed for fur animals. |
| Release form | Toltarox is produced in packs of 250 and 1000 ml in plastic bottles of suitable capacity with polypropylene screw caps. Bottles with a capacity of 250 ml are individually packed in cardboard boxes. Each package comes with instructions for use. |
| Storage conditions | Store the medicine in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, protected from direct sunlight, separated from food and feed, at a temperature from 5 °C to 25 °C. The medicine must be kept in places inaccessible to children. |
| Shelf life |
The shelf life of Toltarox, if stored in a closed manufacturer's packaging, is 3 years from the date of manufacture. The period of validity after the first opening of the packaging - 12 months. It is forbidden to use the medicine after the expiration date. |
