Composition

Injectable suspension for pigs.
A dose of 2 ml contains:

Active substances: Recombinant inactivated porcine circovirus type I expressing protein 1.6 < RP>

Adjuvants:
Sulfolipo-cyclodextrin (SLCD) – 4.0 mg
Sculan – 64.0 mg

Excipients: Thiomersal 0.1 mg

*Relative Potency determined by E1.ISA antigenic quantification (in vitro potency test) comparing two reference vaccines.

Indications

Active immunization of pigs over 3 weeks of age against Porcine Circovirus type 2 (PCV2) to reduce viral load in blood and lymphoid tissues, lymphoid tissue lesions associated with PVC2 infection. as well as to reduce clinical signs including daily weight loss or gain and mortality associated with Multisystemic Post-weaning Weight Loss Syndrome.

Onset of immunity: 3 weeks post vaccination.
Duration of immunization: 19 weeks post vaccination

Dosage and method of administration

Pigs (piglets) over 3 weeks old.A single intramuscular injection in the neck muscle behind the ear with one dose (2 ml) in piglets over 21 days old.

Shake well before administration and intermittently during vaccination.

It is recommended to use a multi-dose syringe. Use the vaccine according to the manufacturer's instructions. The vaccine must be administered under aseptic conditions.

Contraindications Doesn't exist.
Waiting period Zero days.
Release form

Cardboard boxes with 1 bottle of 10 doses (20 ml). 50 doses (100ml) or 125 doses (250 ml).
Caron boxes with 10 vials with 10 doses (20 ml). 50 doses (100ml) or 125 doses (250 ml).

Storage conditions

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store and transport refrigerated (2°C 8°C).
Do not freeze.
Avoid light.
Do not use after the expiry date (EXP) written on the bottle or box.
Use immediately after opening the bottle.

Shelf life

2 years from the date of production.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
