Vaccination of chicks against Avian Infectious Bursitis. Installation of immunity: 6-7 days. |
| Dosage and method of administration |
Administer one dose per animal in drinking water, spray or oculo/nasal instillation. The volume used for instillation depends on the route of administration. Drinking water – the vaccine must be dissolved in a quantity of water that will be consumed by the animal during approximately 2 hours. Nobilis Gumboro D78 can be administered to birds aged 7-28 days. The D78 strain is effective depending on the level of maternal antibodies normally present in the herd at 7-28 days of age. The optimal period of vaccination depends on the level of maternal antibodies. If the level of antibodies varies a lot, the vaccination is repeated at 1-week intervals. Nobilis Gumboro D78 can also be safely administered to day-old chicks that have no or low levels of maternal antibodies. |
