Composition |
Lyophilized fraction: porous, light mass, with a color appearance from white to cream or pale yellow. Liquid fraction: opaque, pale pink suspension. The vaccine is reconstituted immediately before administration, mixing the lyophilized fraction with the liquid one. Indications |
For active immunization of dogs against rabies, hepatitis, parainfluenza, coronavirosis, parvovirosis, leptospirosis caused by Leptospira canicola and icterohaemorrhagiae from the age of 6 weeks. Immunity develops approximately 2 weeks after the last vaccination. The duration of immunity is 12 months from the last dose. |
Dosage and method of administration |
Vaccination of healthy dogs is recommended. The lyophilized Vanguard 5L vaccine should be reconstituted with the First Dose vial as diluent, thoroughly shaken, and immediately injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly with the entire contents (1 ml). Primary vaccination: For puppies aged 6 weeks, administer 3 doses at intervals of 21 days, i.e., at 6-9-12 weeks. If vaccination starts later than 8 weeks, administer two doses at intervals of 14-21 days. Booster vaccination: Administer a single dose of Vanguard Plus 5/CVL annually. |
Contraindications | Do not administer to animals with increased sensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins and pregnant females. |
Waiting period | Not applicable. |
Release form | The liquid and lyophilized fractions are packaged identically in glass bottles with rubber stoppers and secured aluminum caps. The bottles are packed 25 of each type in transparent, colorless plastic boxes. |
Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed products, at a temperature of 2°C to 7°C, in places inaccessible to children. |
Shelf life |
Lyophilized fraction: 18 months from the date of manufacture, liquid fraction: 18 months from the date of manufacture. Use the entire content immediately after reconstitution. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. |
