| Indications | Ivermec OR is indicated for preventive and curative purposes in case of nematodes and entomosis. Chickens (broilers, broilers, replacement youngsters and hens during moulting) in case of ascariasis, heterachidosis, capillariosis entomosis caused by Dermatoryktes mutas, Aphaniptera spp., Menacanthus stramineus, Ceratophyllus gallinae, acarosis caused by Dermanyssus gallinae (red tick), Knemidocoptes mutans, Menopon gallinae. |
| Dosage and method of administration | To chickens (broilers, broilers, replacement youngsters and hens during moulting) Ivermec OR is administered internally, in groups, with drinking water at a dose of 400 mkg ivermectin per 1 kg body weight of the bird, which corresponds to 0.4 ml/1 l of water. To prepare the curative solution, the required amount of Ivermec OR preparation is diluted in ¼ of the daily volume consumed with water. It is administered in the case of nematodes only once, in entomozoans - 3 times: the first 2 times with an interval of 24 hours and over 14 days. For a guaranteed consumption of the curative solution, two hours before administration, drinking water is excluded. |
| Contraindications |
Individual sensitivity to the components of the preparation. It is not recommended to administer to laying hens and replacement youngsters 14 days prior to mass laying due to the accumulation of ivermectin in the eggs. Do not administer simultaneously with macrocyclic lactones because of the mutual toxic action. |
| Waiting period | For meat – 9 days. For eggs – 14 days after the last administration of the Ivermec OR preparation. In case of slaughter before the expiry of the deadline, the carcasses are fed to fur animals. |
| Release form | The preparation is presented as a colorless or pale yellowish transparent solution. It is packaged in 400, 500 and 1000 ml polymer bottles with swift off plastic caps. |
| Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children. |
| Shelf life |
2 years from the date of production, from the first opening – 42 days. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. |
