Species Dogs.
Composition Each chewable tablet contains 3.6 mg, 5.4 mg or 16 mg oclacitinib (as oclacitinib maleate).
Indications Treatment of pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs.
Treatment of clinical manifestations of atopic dermatitis in dogs.
Dosage and method of administration

For oral administration.

Dosage and treatment regimen:
The recommended initial dose of Apoquel tablets to be administered to the dog is to achieve 0.4 mg to 0.6 mg oclacitinib/kg body weight, administered orally, twice daily for up to 14 days.

For maintenance treatment (after the initial 14 days of treatment), the same dose (0.4 mg to 0.6 mg oclacitinib/kg body weight) should be administered only once daily thereafter. The need for long-term maintenance therapy should be based on an individual benefit/risk assessment by the responsible veterinarian.

Apoquel tablets are chewable, tasty and ready to eat for most dogs.

These tablets can be taken with or without food.

Dogs should be carefully observed after administration to ensure that each tablet is swallowed.

Contraindications Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to oclacitinib or to any of the excipients.
Do not use in dogs less than 12 months of age or with a body weight of less than 3 kg.
Do not use in dogs with signs of immune suppression, such as hyperadrenocorticism or with signs of progressive malignant neoplasia, as the active substance has not been evaluated in these cases.

Release form Apoquel chewable tablets are supplied in blister packs of 20 or 100 tablets per pack.
Storage conditions Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.
Shelf life

18 months from the date of production.

Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
