Composition

1g of preparation contains:
albendazole - 200mg and excipients.

Indications

Alben granulate is indicated for the deworming of cattle, sheep and goats in the case of:
- Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus sp., Bunostomum sp., Oesophagostomum sp., Chabertia ovina, Strongyloides spp., Trichocephalus spp., Nematodirus sp., Ostertagia spp., Cooperia sp.
- Pulmonary nematodes: Dictyocaulus spp., Protostrongylus spp., Metastrongylus spp.
- Cestodes: Moniezia expanza, Moniezia benedeni, Avitellina sp., Diphyllobothrium latum
- Trematodes: Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica, Paramphistomum spp.

Dosage and method of administration

- Deworming of animals is carried out:
- Curative: As directed by the veterinarian.
- Preventive: In the spring, before grazing, and in the fall, before housing.
- No special diet or prior administration of laxatives is required.

Method of administration and dosage
- Granulated Alben is administered orally, individually or in groups, mixed with food.
- Frequency: Single administration.
- Doses: For cattle, sheep and goats, depending on body weight, according to the table (not provided).

Group administration
- Method: The calculated dose of Alben granulate is homogenized with the compound feed in the amounts reported per animal:
- Cattle: 0.5-1.0 kg
- Sheep, goats: 150-200 g
- The medicated mixture is placed in the manger for a group of 10-100 animals, giving them free access to the manger.

Dosing spoon
- Included in the package, with the following measures:
- Without tip: 5.0 g of the drug
- First measure from the bottom: 2.5 g
- Second measure: 3.75 g

Preliminary testing
- Before mass deworming, each series of the drug is tested on a small group (5-10 farm animals).
- If no complications occur within 3 days, the entire livestock is dewormed.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to albendazole. Do not administer in case of acute fasciolosis, exhausted animals and animals suffering from infectious diseases.
It is forbidden to administer Alben granulate during mating.

Waiting period

Slaughter of animals - 20 days.
Milk - 4 days.
Carcasses, milk obtained before the expiration of the deadline are fed to carnivorous animals.
Fish can be used for human consumption after 18 days (if the water temperature is above 8°C).

Release form

Package of combined material of 20g, laminated paper packages of 0.5kg and 1kg, laminated paper bags of 5; 10; 15 and 20 kg;
polymer jars of 1.0 kg each;
5.0 and 10kg polymer buckets and measuring spoons.

Storage conditions

Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children.

Shelf life

3 years from the date of production.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
