| Composition | 1 g of the drug contains:
sulfadimidine sodium salt – 300 mg The kit includes a bottle with 0.9% sodium chloride solution. |
| Indications |
Cattle, sheep: treatment of animals with sepsis, pododermatitis and abscesses, intermittent respiratory diseases (rhinitis, bronchitis, pneumonia); of the digestive tract (anaerobic dysentery of lambs, gastroenteritis), of the urogenital system (vaginitis, urethritis, metritis, mastitis), caused by microorganisms sensitive to the active substances of the given drug. Pigs: treatment of animals with enzootic pneumonia, bacterial agalaxia of sows, dysentery, edema disease, redness, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis caused by pathogens sensitive to sulfadimedine, sulfadiazine and trimethoprim. Horses: treatment of animals diarrhea (contagion), contagious metritis, measles, mumps or others caused by microorganisms sensitive to sulfadimedine, sulfadiazine and trimethoprim. Rabbits: treatment of animals with gastroenteritis, colibacteriosis, pasteurellosis, coccidiosis, pneumonia, infectious rhinitis caused by microorganisms sensitive to the components Brovaseptol injectable. |
| Dosage and method of administration | The solution is prepared before administration using the diluent (sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution). To 3.3 g add 8 ml of diluent, to 6.6 – 16 ml. The solution received is administered intramuscularly in the following doses:
The optimal duration of the treatment is 5 administrations. If the clinical symptoms persist, the cure is extended by 2 days. Cattle are allowed intra-aortic administration in case of bacterial diseases of the uterus, udder and hooves of the pelvic limbs. |
| Contraindications | Do not indicate in animals with increased individual sensitivity to the components of the preparation, with kidney or liver dysfunction. Do not dilute with novocaine solution and do not use concomitantly with paraaminobenzoic acid derivatives. |
| Waiting period | Meat – cattle, sheep, horses, pigs – 10 days. Milk for human consumption more than 4 days after the last administration. Products of animal origin obtained before the expiry of the deadline shall be fed to non-productive animals or used as decided by the veterinarian. |
| Release form | Glass vials of 3.3 g and 6.6 g with rubber stoppers and aluminum capacity placed in cardboard boxes and glass vials of 8 ml and 16 ml of sterile sodium chloride solution of 0.9 %. |
| Storage conditions | Store in a dark place, separate from food and feed, at T°C 5°C + 25°C, in places inaccessible to children. |
