Indications |
For the treatment of calves and poultry:
– GI tract infections; – respiratory tract infections; – infections of the genitourinary system; – skin and soft tissue infections; – other diseases of bacterial etiology, the causative agents of which are sensitive to a combination of active components of the preparation. |

Dosage and method of administration | The drug is administered orally once a day: cattle, sheep, goats and small animals at a dose of 1 g per 10 kg of body weight for 3-5 days. It is possible to apply zinaprim with water at the rate of 750 g per 1000 liters of drinking water. The first day is recommended to enter a therapeutic dose twice with an interval of 12 hours. Poultry and rabbits zinaprim is applied in a dose of 1 g per liter of drinking water on the first day, in the next 2-3 days the daily dose is 0.5 g per 1 liter of drinking water. During the treatment the bird receives only water containing zinaprim. | ||||||
Contraindications | – simultaneous use with parahaminobenzoic acid preparations (novocaine, procaine, anesthesin, benzocaine), because of their antagonistic interaction;
– impaired functions of the organs of hematopoiesis, liver and kidneys; – laying hens (due to accumulation of the drug in the eggs). |

Waiting time | Slaughter for meat is allowed after 5 days after the last use of the drug. Meat of animals that were forced to die before the expiration of this period can be used for feeding fur-bearing animals or for the production of meat-bone meal. It is forbidden to use for food purposes milk received from animals during the treatment with the drug and within 4 days after discontinuation of the drug. | ||||||
