Product Description

Species Cows, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, carnivores (dogs, foxes), poultry.
Composition 1 ml of the preparation contains active ingredients:
alphamethrin – 85 mg;
piperonyl butoxide 115 mg
Excipients: emulsifier, stabilizing components, organic solvent.
Indications The drug in the form of aqueous solutions is used in cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, carnivores (dogs, foxes) and poultry when they are affected by ectoparasitic pathogens sensitive to the active substances of Ectosan®.

Working solutions for the treatment of animals are used mainly by spraying with the help of various sprayers, which are capable of providing a finely dispersed stream of liquid. In the presence of visible affected areas of the skin (psoroptosis, sarcoptic mange, etc.), the solution is rubbed into them using brushes for 40-50 seconds. For small animals (sheep, dogs, foxes), bathing is more effective, which is carried out to the sheep in specially equipped baths, mainly after shearing.

Working solutions are prepared immediately before use by adding an exact dose of the drug to a certain amount of non-chlorinated drinking water.

Dosage and method of administration
  • Aqueous solutions at a rate of 1: 500 are used for deacarization of livestock buildings (0.2 l / m2), and for disinsection (against flies) – 1:50. This solution is used to treat up to 10% of the area of premises (doors, window sills, walls, etc.).
  • A dilution of 1: 750 is used for treating animals affected by ticks of the families Psoroptidae, Sarcoptidae, Heyletidae and Demodecidae, and birds affected by down-eaters, syringophillosis pathogens, etc. Dilution 1: 1000 is used in animals if they are affected by pathogens of other types of ectoparasites.

Processing of livestock in baths.

The initial solution is 1: 1000 l, the restoring solution is 2: 1000 l. The latter is added when the volume of the solution in the bathroom is reduced by 20-25%. The temperature of the solutions should be in the range of 10-25 ° C.

The cattle should be in the bathroom for 10-15 seconds, while it is necessary to dip the head 2-3 times. The sheep are bathed for 30-40 seconds, dipping their heads twice. The optimal bathing period is 20-25 days after the haircut.

For one-time processing, working solutions are used in the following volumes:

– cattle, horses – 0.5 liters per 100 kg of body weight, and to protect against gnat – once a day in an amount of 0.2-0.3 liters per animal; lactating cows are treated after milking;
pigs – 0.5-1 liters per animal;
chickens, turkeys – 40-60 ml per bird.
Geese, ducks, dogs and foxes are treated by short-term immersion in a container with a working solution.

When treating animals affected by acariform mites, after 9-12 days, the treatment is repeated in the same way.
