Indications |
Amoxygard shall be prescribed to cattle for treatment of bacterial respiratory diseases, obstetric and gynecological diseases (mastitis and metritis), surgical diseases, including soft tissue infections (such as abscesses, cellulitis, furunculosis, erysipelatous inflammation, etc.); to pigs for treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory system, colibacillosis, postpartum infections in sows (metritis, mastitis, agalactia). |
Dosage and method of administration | Amoxygard shall be administered in animals in a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of animal body weight. The drugs shall be administered once daily; the treatment session is typically for 3 to 5 days. Before each application, thoroughly shake a vial of Amoxygard till formation of homogenous suspended mixture. The drugs shall be administered in cattle and pigs intramuscularly only. The site of injection, upon the drug administration, should be massaged.
Only dry syringes and needles shall be used for the drug administration. Amoxygard as compared to a foreign amoxicillin-based monotherapy. |
Contraindications | Contraindications to the administration of Amoxigard may serve to increase individual sensitivity to b-lactam antibiotics |
