Species

Cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats, fur animals, poultry, broilers, laying hens.

Composition

1 ml contains as active ingredients butafosfan – 100 mg and cyanocobalamin – 0.05 mg, and as excipients: methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and water for injection.

Indications

Butofan0 is prescribed for cattle and small cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals and poultry for metabolic disorders of various etiologies, as well as a stimulant and tonic:
– to increase the body’s resistance to diseases of various etiologies; as an additional remedy in the treatment of diseases caused by a lack of calcium and magnesium in the body;
– in order to intensify labor activity and prevent postpartum complications (tetany of the uterus, puerperal paresis);
– with heavy physical exertion and increased physical activity in sports horses (2-3 days before the competition).

Dosage and method of administration

Butofap is administered to cattle and small cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats and fur-bearing animals once a day intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intravenously (slowly), orally to birds with drinking water for 4-5 days in a row, in single doses indicated in the table:

Contraindications

A contraindication to the use of the drug Butofan is the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug.

Warning

In the chronic course of the disease, ½ of the dose of Butofan indicated in the table is prescribed.
A second course of treatment, if necessary, is carried out at intervals of 5-14 days.

Release form

The drug is produced packaged in 20, 50, 100 ml glass bottles or 250, 500 ml in glass bottles of the appropriate capacity.

Storage conditions

Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at 5-25°С.

Shelf life

5 years from the date of production.
