Composition | 1 tablet contains ciprofloxacin hydrochloride as an active ingredient (50 or 15 mg), as well as lactulose (20 mg) and other excipients. Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride (fluroquinolone compound) is a component of the medication with broad-spectrum antibacterial effect. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including mycobacteria. Lactulose (prebiotic substance) promotes growth of bifidobacteria and lactobacteria and supports growth inhibition of potentially pathogenic microflora. |
Indications | Treatment of dogs and cats with chronic and acute bacterial infections of gastrointestinal tract, biliary tracts, respiratory system, urogenital system, soft tissues and skin, joints and bones, as well as secondary infections associated with viral diseases agents of which are susceptible to ciprofloxacin. |
Dosage and method of administration |
For individual oral administration in following doses once a day within 3-5 days: |
Contraindications | Do not use in pregnant and lactating females, animals with frank cartilage tissue development disorders and nervous system affections, as well as in puppies and kittens before growth period termination. Do not use in combination with bacteriostatic antibiotics and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as with drugs containing cations of magnesium, aluminium and calcium. |

Release form | The drug is manufactured in two modifications: Ciprovet tablets for dogs and Ciprovet tablets for cats and small dogs (10 tablets in blister). Outer package – carton. |
Storage conditions | Store the drug in the sealed packaging of the manufacturer, separately from food and feed, in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature of from 5 ° C to 25 ° C. |
