| Dosage and method of administration | The vaccine is used for prophylactic purposes for the active immunization of chickens (the repair population of laying hens, the repair stock of parent broilers) and turkeys against infectious encephalomyelitis of birds and smallpox chickens and turkeys. Only healthy birds are vaccinated. The drug is used by the Wing-Web method. Dilute the vaccine immediately before vaccination in the diluent supplied with the vaccine. Vaccination is performed by injection into the wing of the wing, using the needle supplied with the vaccine. To do this, immerse the needle in the solution with the vaccine in such a way that both grooves of the needle are filled, then, without flicking the needles, pierce the wing membrane from below, avoiding touching the wing feathers with a needle. After 7-10 days at the site of the injection there should be a slight swelling and minor necrotic changes that disappear within 2-3 weeks. The bird is vaccinated at the age of: chickens – 8-16 weeks, turkey – 18-26 weeks.You can not vaccinate chickens younger than 8 weeks of age, turkeys under the age of 18 weeks, and poultry for 28 days or less before the laying period. |
