| Dosage and method of administration | Ribotan is administered to animals subcutaneously or intramuscularly in the following doses:
For the prevention of infectious diseases, ribontane is administered to the animals at a dose of 2 to 3 times per month, during mass diseases, one dose every 3 to 5 consecutive days. If the condition of the animal worsens and the diagnosis is impossible in the initial stage of the disease, the drug is administered 2 to 3 times at a single dose at intervals of 3 to 5 days. With a curative purpose, when the diagnosis is established, ribotan is injected one dose every 3 to 5 days, but not more than 5 injections. If necessary, after 5-10 days, the course of treatment should be repeated. When vaccinated, the drug is injected concomitantly with the vaccine. The use of the drug must be combined with serum (immunoglobulin) therapy and symptomatic agents (antibiotics, vitamins, cardiac drugs). To eliminate the consequences of stress conditions (for example, during transportation, haircut, etc.), one dose of the drug is administered 10 to 18 hours before the stress.
