Composition Injection. Pyro-Stop as active ingredient in 1 ml contains imidocarb dipropionate – 120 mg, as well as auxiliary components: polyvinylpyrrolidone – 10 mg, benzyl alcohol – 9 mg, propionic acid – 30 mg and water for injection – up to 1 ml.
Indications Pyro-Stop is prescribed for cattle, sheep, horses, donkeys, mules and dogs with a curative and preventive purpose in blood-parasitic diseases – babesiosis, nuttalliose, anaplasmosis and mixed invasions.
Dosage and method of administration
Cattle
Treatment and prevention of babesiosis 2.0 ml per 100 kg of animal mass once
Treatment and prevention of anaplasmosis and mixed invasions 2.5 ml per 100 kg of animal mass once
Elimination of carrier condition 4.0 ml per 100 kg of animal weight, 2-fold at intervals of 14 days
Horses, donkeys and mules
Treatment and prevention of babesiosis 2.0 ml per 100 kg of animal mass once

2 ml per 100 kg of animal weight, 2 times with an interval of 24 hours

With the preventive purpose, Pyro-Stop is used when one or two animals in the herd have clinical signs of the disease, when they attack (or threaten to attack) animals of Ixodes tick-carriers of blood-parasitic diseases, and also within a week after moving animals to the regions To cattle – once in 6 weeks; Horses, donkeys, mules – once in 4 weeks, dogs – once a season with the threat of attacks on animals Ixodes ticks (hunting, hiking in the forest).

Dogs should be under the supervision of a veterinarian for at least 15 minutes after the injection. Simultaneously with Piro-Stop, dogs are recommended to use antihistamines in accordance with the instructions for use.

Warning It is forbidden to use the medication for 4 weeks after vaccination with a live vaccine against babesiosis or anaplasmosis.

In connection with a possible pain reaction, the drug should not be administered in one place to large animals in a volume exceeding 10 ml, to small animals in a volume exceeding 2.5 ml.

Slaughter of cattle, horses and sheep for meat is allowed no earlier than 28 days after the last application of Piro-Stop. With the forced slaughter of animals before the established term, meat can be used in fodder for fur animals. Milk milk cows and mares are allowed to use for food purposes no earlier than 4 days after the last injection of Pyro-Stop. The milk obtained after the set period of time after boiling can be used in animal feed.
