Indications
  • The drug is used for the prevention and treatment of various diseases as a biotonizing agent: for anemia, hypovitaminosis, for infectious and invasive diseases, pyometra, for poisoning, in the postoperative period, for toxicosis of pregnancy, childbirth, in preparing animals for exhibitions, competitions and transportation.
Dosage and method of administration The drug is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, intravenously, and possibly with solubilization.

  • For the purpose of prophylaxis, Gamavit is administered at 0.1 ml / kg of body weight of the animal (prophylactic dose).
  • For therapeutic purposes – 0.3-0.5 ml / kg (therapeutic dose).

 

  • In order to prevent: anemia, hypovitaminosis, weakened, old animals, during the recovery period after diseases and operations, the drug is prescribed intramuscularly 1-3 times a week. The duration of the course is on average 2-4 weeks or more. At increased loads, to enhance the resistance of animals to technological stress, the drug is administered before stressful exposure once or a course 8, 6, 4 days before and immediately before exposure to stress factors.

To increase fertility, Gamavit should be administered at a dose of 0.025-0.05 ml / kg on the day of fertilization, to facilitate childbirth and prevent postpartum complications – at the same dose 1 week before and during childbirth.

To prevent early mortality, malnutrition, to increase resistance to diseases and weight gain, the drug is administered to newborns on days 1, 3 and 5 or 7 of life at a dose of 0.1 ml / kg.

  • With a therapeutic purpose: in the treatment of infectious and invasive diseases (including piroplasmosis), the drug is administered as part of a complex of standard therapy means 2-3 times a day for 3-5 days. In case of poisoning, Gamavit is administered subcutaneously, intravenously or by drip 1 time in a 3-5-fold therapeutic dose as part of a complex of standard therapy. In case of feeding disorders, growth retardation and intoxication, Gamavit is administered once a day for 5-7 days.

For deworming, Gamavit is used in conjunction with anthelmintic agents. The drug is administered intramuscularly on the day of deworming and again every other day. In the treatment of obstetric and gynecological diseases, Gamavit is used as part of a complex of standard therapy once a day for 5-7 days, in case of pathological childbirth – once in a double therapeutic dose. Gamavit combines well with other pharmacological agents. The combination with Fosprenil enhances the effect of the drug.

Contraindications
  • Increased individual sensitivity of animals and birds to the components of the drug.
Warning
  • Adverse events and complications are not observed in case of administration as per package insert.
Release form
  • The drug is packaged in 2, 5, 6, 10, 50, 100 or 450 ml in sterile bottles of neutral glass.
Storage conditions
  • Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at 4-25°С.
Shelf life 2 year from the date of production.
