Phosprenyl 10ml, 50ml

Phosprenyl is administered to agricultural, domesticated, fur-bearing animals and poultry to stimulate non-specific resistance, to prevent and treat viral infections, to strengthen the immune response to vaccine administration, to reduce morbidity and increase weight gain in animals and poultry.

Composition The drug Phosprenyl contains in its composition as an active substance the disodium salt of phosphate polyprenols – 0,4% and as auxiliary substances: glycerin – 3,0%, ethanol – 2,9%, tween-80 – 0,25% and water For injections – up to 100%.
Indications Phosprenyl is administered to agricultural, domesticated, fur-bearing animals and poultry to stimulate non-specific resistance, to prevent and treat viral infections, to strengthen the immune response to vaccine administration, to reduce morbidity and increase weight gain in animals and poultry. The drug is administered intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intravenously or orally. If necessary, the drug can be used to wash the mucous membrane of the eye and the nasal cavity of the sick animal.
Dosage and method of administration In the treatment of viral infections of small pets Phosprenyl is prescribed for 5-7 days at the doses indicated in Table I.

With a large volume of a daily dose, Phosprenyl should be administered either in two to three points, or for three to four injections during the day, or intravenously half a dose.

In case of carnivore plague in dogs, the drug should be injected for at least 14 days, in order to avoid relapses, even if clinical signs of the disease disappear. The duration of the course, if necessary, can be increased to 1 month.

 

For the purpose of nonspecific prevention of diseases and reduction of case Phosprenyl is administered at a dose of 0.05 ml per 1 kg of animal weight according to the scheme indicated in Table II.

* – to prepare a working solution, 20 ml of Phosprenyl is diluted in 1 liter of water with 10% glycerol and sprayed with aerosol generators such as SAG or APA at the rate of 0.4 ml of working solution per 1 m3 of the poultry house with an exposure of 15 minutes.

Contraindications Combination with steroid agents reduces the therapeutic effect of Fosprenil. It is not recommended to dilute Fosprenil with saline solutions.
Warning

The products from animals and birds used with Fosprenil are used for food purposes without restrictions.

Release form Phosprenyl is produced in the form of a sterile solution, which is packaged in 2, 5, 10, 50, 100 ml in glass bottles, 450 and 2000 ml in glass bottles of appropriate capacity, sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced aluminum caps. Vials are stacked on 1 or 5 pieces in cardboard boxes together with the instruction on application.
Storage conditions Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5 – 25°С.
Shelf life 2 years from the date of production.
