| Indications |
- Biotechnological: synchronization and induction of estrus in heifers and cows; induction of farrowing in sows. Therapeutic: functional disorders of the ovaries, postpartum and postpartum anesthesia (silent heat, irregular cycle, persistent corpus luteum, luteal cyst, chronic postpuerperal endometritis, pyometra; termination of normal or pathological pregnancy (first half of gestation); combined therapy for follicular cysts, day 10, after treatment with hCG or LHRH, after detecting a positive ovarian response); calving induction.

| Dosage and method of administration |
- Cattle: 2 ml of the drug intramuscularly (i.e. 0.5 mg of the active substance). To help induce and synchronize warmth, the product should be administered twice every 10 days. The first dose should be given at any stage of the estrous cycle (cows between 40 and 60 days after calving). On the 11th day after the first treatment, a second dose is administered. Insemination should be carried out, regardless of signs of obvious heat, on the 14th day (ie 72-76 hours after the second treatment) with repeated insemination (15th day). Any use of the product to stimulate synchronization in cattle should be preceded by a genital examination. The criteria for dividing animals into groups are the physiological status of the genital organs of heifers and puberty.
- Functional disorders of the ovaries are treated with 2 ml of the drug, then after the first appearance of heat, fertilization is practiced. If heat does not start, repeat the introduction of the product at a dose of 2 ml 11 days after the first treatment, and then again after 72-76 hours and / or re-insemination.
- Follicular cysts are treated with a single injection of 2 ml of the drug no earlier than on the 10th day after treatment with hCG or LHRH, when the corpus luteum was detected. Hunting will begin on the 3rd day after the introduction of OSTROFAN.
- Post-periodic diseases of the uterus: 2 ml of the product is administered, if necessary, the treatment can be supplemented with intrauterine administration of the creamy form of the product and / or irrigation – preferably simultaneously with the administration. Repeat on day 11, insemination on day 14, re-insemination on day 15.
- Termination of pregnancy, onset of labor:
Cattle: single dose of 2 ml of the product (further treatment depending on clinical status) pro toto.
- Sows: a single dose of 1 ml of the product (i.e. 0.25 mg of active substance) administered from the 111th day of pregnancy. In most cases, labor induction occurs within 40 hours of ingestion, with a maximum effect within 24-35 hours.
