| Composition | Enroxil® 10% solution for oral administration in 1 ml contains enrofloxacin 100 mg, and as auxiliary components: potassium hydroxide 16 mg, benzyl alcohol 14 mg and distilled water up to 1 ml. |
| Indications | Enroxil® 10% solution for oral administration is prescribed to broiler chickens, chickens and turkeys for colibacillosis, salmonellosis, streptococcosis, necrotic enteritis, campylobacterial hepatitis, hemophilia, mycoplasmosis and other diseases whose pathogens are sensitive to enrofloxacin. |
| Dosage and method of administration | Enroxil® 10% solution for oral administration is administered with water for drinking in a daily dose of 10 mg enrofloxacin per 1 kg of live weight of the bird, which corresponds to: – for a bird before the 4-week-old age, 5 ml of the preparation per 10 l of water; – a bird older than 4 weeks of age 10 ml of the drug per 10 liters of water. During the treatment, only water with a drug is used for the bird’s drinking. The treatment period is 3 days, and for salmonellosis 5 days. |
| Contraindications | It is forbidden to use Enroxil® 10% solution for oral administration to laying hens and repair young animals less than 2 weeks before laying, due to the enrichment of enrofloxacin in eggs. |
| Warning | Adverse events and complications are not generally observed in case of administration as per package insert.
Do not use Enroxil® 10% solution for oral administration together with tetracycline antibiotics, macrolides, lincosamides and chloramphenicol. Slaughter of poultry for meat is allowed no earlier than 8 days after the last use of the drug. Poultry meat, who was forcedly killed before the expiration of this period, can be used for feeding fur-bearing animals. |
| Release form | Enroxil® 10% solution for oral administration is put up packaged in dark glass bottles or in polyethylene bottles of appropriate capacity. |
| Storage conditions | Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5-25°С. |
