Dectomax

Dectomax is assigned to cattle, sheep for the treatment and prevention of diseases caused by gastrointestinal nematodes, lungs, subcutaneous tissue, lacrimal ducts, subcutaneous and nasopharyngeal larvae, larvae of flies, fleas, lice, scabies and ixodid mites.

Product Description

Species Cattle, sheeps, pigs.
Composition Dectomax contains 1% doramectin (25 cyclohexyl-5-O dimethyl-25-di (1-methylpropyl) avermectin A1a) as an active ingredient and a mixture of ethyl oleate and sesame oil as a solvent. In appearance it is a sterile solution, colorless or pale yellow in color.
Indications Dectomax is assigned to cattle, sheep for the treatment and prevention of diseases caused by gastrointestinal nematodes, lungs, subcutaneous tissue, lacrimal ducts, subcutaneous and nasopharyngeal larvae, larvae of flies, fleas, lice, scabies and ixodid mites.Dectomax is used to cattle for diseases caused by:
Nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract (mature and larvae); Ostertagia ostertagi (including inhibited larvae), Ostertagia lyrata, Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus placei, Haemonchus similis, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Trichostrongylus longispicularis, Mecistocirrus digitatus, Cooperia oncophora (including inhibited larvae), Cooperia pectinata, Cooperia punctata, Cooperia spatulata, Cooperia Sumabada (synonym Mcmasteri), Nematodirus helvetianus, Nematodirus spathiger, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Strongyloides papillosus, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Trichocephalus discolor, Trichocephalus ovis; Pulmonary nematodes (sexually mature and larvae): Diсtyocaulus viviparus; Nematodes of lacrimal ducts: Thelazia spp; Subcutaneous nematodes: Parafilaria bovicola; Subcutaneous and nasopharyngeal larvae: Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum, Dermatobia hominis; Parasitic stages of Cochliomyia hominovorax, Chrysomyia bezziani; Lice: Haematopinus eurystemus, Linognathus vituli, Solenopotes capillatus; Scabby mites: Psoroptes bovis, Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes scabiei, Chorioptes bovis; Ixodes tick: Boophilus microplus, Ornithodoros spp.
Dectomax is also used to combat Damalinia bovis and Haematobia irritans.
Dosage and method of administration Dectomax is administered single-shot to cattle and sheep intramuscularly or subcutaneously. The drug should be administered with aseptic rules, using dry sterile syringes and needles. For cattle, the drug is injected into the neck area at a dose of 0.2 mg of doramectin per 1 kg of weight, which corresponds to 1 ml of a solution of dextomax per 50 kg of animal weight.

Contraindications The drug can not be used by animals from which milk is obtained for food purposes. In this regard, cows and sheep, from whom milk will be obtained for food purposes, is prohibited to use the drug later than 35 days before childbirth.
Warning Slaughter of cattle and sheep for meat is allowed no earlier than 35 days after the last injection of the drug. With the forced slaughter of animals before the specified dates, slaughter products can be used for feeding fur-bearing animals.
Release form The preparation is produced in glass dark bottles of 50 ml and 500 ml.
Storage conditions Store in original package. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Store separately from food and animal feeding at +5-25°С.
Shelf life 3 years from the date of production.
