Dosage and method of administration |
The drug is administered intravenously or subcutaneously at the rate of 0.5 ml / kg of animal weight once, and if necessary – repeatedly at the same dose after 24 hours. The maximum single doses of Calcium borgluconate are given in the table:

Contraindications | Increased individual sensitivity of the animal to calcium halos and hypercalcemia. With caution (under the supervision of a veterinarian) the drug is prescribed for dehydration, diarrhea, electrolyte disorders (risk of hypercalcemia). It is not allowed to use the drug simultaneously with carbonates, salicylates, sulfates, tetracycline antibiotics, and mix the drug in one syringe with other medications. | ||||||||||||
