Indications | Fungivet is used in animals for the prevention and treatment of fungal skin diseases caused by pathogens of dermatomycosis: trichophytosis, microsporia and lichen, as well as yeast-like fungi. |
Dosage and method of administration | The Fungivet spray is sprayed onto the previously cleaned and dried affected surface of the animal’s skin and hair, rubbing slightly in the direction from the periphery to the center, capturing up to 1 cm of healthy border skin. After the treatment, it is necessary to take measures to prevent licking of the animals (15-20 minutes), to increase the contact of the drug with the skin. The treatment is carried out once a day for 10-15 days until clinical recovery, which is confirmed by microscopic examination of skin scrapings. If after 3 weeks of treatment there is no improvement, it is necessary to re-determine the causative agent of the disease and its sensitivity to the drug. The use of Fungivet does not exclude the use of other etiotropic and pathogenetic drugs. Do not wash the animal within 24 hours after applying the drug! |
